Melinda Houde of Manchester was never skeptical about losing the weight – she knew it would come off with hard work and discipline. However, after losing 100lbs on her own, she needed a little extra help to reach her goals. That’s why Melinda decided to bring in reinforcements; Trainer John from Big Sky Vernon!

Losing weight was no longer Melinda’s main priority. She was successful in losing weight on her own, but toning her muscles and maintaining her weight loss were now at the top of her wish list.

Working with John, Melinda says, “kept [her] on track by making [working out] enjoyable.” She’s been able to accomplish her goals by monitoring her diet and keeping up with her exercises.

Now Melinda enjoys running, cycling, hiking and strength training. Her favorite compliment is when people think her husband has a new wife! Her advice to anyone else looking to accomplish their goals, “don’t give up, be patient! It didn’t happen over-night.”
