Donna F. of Canton joined Big Sky hoping to increase her energy, build some strength, and improve her flexibility and balance. With 4 grandchildren (and another on the way) she wanted to be able to get through a day of babysitting with energy instead of exhaustion. She also wanted to lower her risk of injury and illness, and improve her overall quality of life.
Donna committed to working with her Trainer Gene at Big Sky Simsbury once a week and to coming in twice a week on her own. She set a goal to see improvement within three months. For the first month Donna tells us that she would leave the gym “spent for the day”, but after three months Donna now leaves the gym with a noticeable increase in her energy! She feels mentally and physically stronger, and motivated to do more in a day without feeling exhausted… including babysitting those young grandchildren.
When we asked Donna what her favorite thing about Big Sky was she answered “It’s a comfortable and friendly atmosphere – not at all intimidating. The staff is GREAT – welcoming and encouraging… and the shakes are delicious too!”
