Defend Yourself Training
The best way to get out of trouble is to never get into it in the first place. If something bad does come your way though, know how to better defend yourself and the people around you. Using some basic principles of Krav Maga, MMA, kickboxing, and boxing, we’re able to help our clients have some fun and let out their “inner warriors”.
We’re not trying to make you a black belt, but let’s be honest … some days it just feels good to HIT something.

Training at Big Sky is terrific. Wonderful trainers, flexible schedules, and never-ending support to meet your goals. I had always wandered around the gym without a plan or goals, and without results. I usually ended up on the treadmill because that was the easiest piece of machinery to operate without hurting myself. When I joined team training with Elly and Jeremy I was taught about the necessary balance between strength training and cardio, how to strength train safely and effectively, and why my personal eating habits were helping or hurting my performance. Each morning the training team is there with a smile on their face ready to answer questions, give support, and push you to your max (which is important when you get stuck thinking this will never work!), with the added benefit that you are surrounded by a small group of people who are also working as hard as you are and sharing in the journey together. The education they provide is amazing and now I feel stronger in my own skin, smarter with my eating choices, and more confident in the gym.
I've been working with Eric for a year and half and am very happy with the progress I've made and the goals I've achieved. I am an athlete and my original goal was to improve my performance only in my sport. I definitely did improve beyond even what I expected, but more than that, with Eric's knowledge and training, I am an overall better athlete. I've gained overall strength and a better understanding of my body mechanics and how it all connects to my performance and health. And probably the most important progress I've made with Eric is a pretty impressive recovery after major surgery. Eric is always encouraging, fun to train with and pushes me when I need it (and in a way that doesn't feel like it's pushing). He pays close attention to his clients, their goals, areas they might need to work on, and shares his knowledge in a way that relates to each person's goals and progress.
I love Big Sky Fitness! The staff is very helpful, friendly and you're always greeted with a smile. A welcoming atmosphere. The group classes are my personal favorite as well as the personal training. Step class on Saturday morning with Katrina is a great cardio workout. She's an amazing instructor who cares about the members. Personal training is another favorite of mine. I started personal training about four months ago with Brett. Brett is very knowledgeable and keeps me motivated. Personal training sessions are fun too ! I will continue to recommend Big Sky Fitness for its group classes and personal training.
Big Sky has been the best decision I've made, training with Noah has helped me loose over 251bs! And the best part after the workout is the shakes, especially made by Angela!! Always greeted by the friendly staff!
