Coming from a family of athletes and a background in competitive gymnastics, fitness has always been a huge part of my life. It was only after I graduated from college, stopped competing in gymnastics, and started my desk job that I discovered the importance of overall wellness. Finding time for the gym when it used to be where I spent most of my time caused a rift that eventually found its way into my eating habits, workout habits, and overall lifestyle. After about two years in the same cycle, I started the NASM Certified Personal Trainer course as a way to get back on track with my own health and make a change to a career that fueled my passions and fit the lifestyle that I wanted.
My goal as a trainer is to help people in their unique journeys; helping them create or get back to the life they dream of. In a world of everchanging fitness trends and social media’s latest “must do” exercise, I understand how difficult navigating the gym can be, and want to be a support system for anyone in the gym who has already done the hardest part: showing up!
