PN Level 1 Sleep, Stress Management, and Recovery Coach

My passion for fitness, an active lifestyle, and the importance of faith and family has been a guiding force throughout my journey. Before becoming a fitness coach I spent 13 years in the construction industry, where the demanding physical labor and the lifestyle accompanying it took a toll on my body. It was during this time, of seeing the guys who had been doing it longer than me, that I realized I needed to make a change…and FAST!

Determined to make that positive change, I embarked on a fitness journey that not only improved my physical health but also brought about an extreme shift in my mental well-being. Through regular exercise and nutrition studies, I discovered a newfound sense of strength, resilience, and self-confidence – something that I have struggled with my whole life…. I wanted more.

As my passion for fitness grew I felt inspired to share my experiences and help others achieve their health and fitness goals. I started working at a “Big Box” gym. It was cool, but again, I wanted more. I found Big Sky and I haven’t looked back!

I’m a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach, as well as a PN Level 1 Sleep, Stress Management, and Recovery Coach. Combining my knowledge of exercise programming, nutrition, and mental toughness, my approach to fitness goes beyond physical transformation; it encompasses the integration of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.

My values in faith have always been central to my life, and I believe that they’re essential components of a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle. My wife and I have 5 wonderful children with whom we try to create a structured and active environment. We strive to be positive and healthy examples for them to follow. When we aren’t running to a practice, game or tournament, we’re outside with them learning to fish, camp, hike, or bike. We love the outdoors! We all learn that nothing comes easy and we must put in our best efforts for whatever it is we have a passion for.

My goal is to help people grow and harvest a positive relationship with their bodies, embrace an active lifestyle, and find joy in the pursuit of a healthy mind and body. Over the past 10 years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, from high school athletes to adults with severe disabilities. I feel blessed to have been able to positively impact their performance and quality of life.

I am stern yet compassionate. I don’t like excuses, but I do have an understanding that life gets in the way sometimes. We are all different but through continuing education and my desire to help people I have evolved with the fitness industry and have been able to change peoples lives.  I strive to teach everyone that “it doesn’t matter how much weight you can lift or how long you can run, but that doing it makes your daily tasks and life easier”.

Let’s get started!
