As a mom, wife, coach, athlete, sister and daughter, I’ve worked unbelievably hard over the years to understand the meaning of “balance” – (if that’s even a thing), and trying to achieve it everyday.
How can we fill our multiple roles as women, while still meeting our personal goals as individuals? It can feel like an endless battle, but it doesn’t have to. My BIGGEST purpose as a coach is to enhance the parts of your life that you love, while helping to make your life worth living even more so than it already is by making you PROUD of who you are for yourself, your family, and your loved ones
When I’m not chasing around my 2 year old son, I enjoy a nice glass of wine or a seasonal pumpkin beer with my husband. I’ll mention that balance word again, because life is full of it. Restrictions and rule based diets had a place in my past, but I’m a firm believer in a healthy, wholesome, long term way of eating and living. Don’t tell me I can’t have peanut butter or a donut, or we definitely can’t be friends :).
I’m a Precision Nutrition Certified Coach, as well as a NASM Fitness Nutrition Specialist. As much as food is entwined in our culture and social lives, I strongly believe it needs to be something we embrace, not something we fear.
While swimming was my main sport throughout high school and college, I turned to running and strength training along the way as well. Believe it or not, our bodies love to move, and I want to help you find the movement you love to make it fun long term. I’ve competed in dozens of half marathons, 2 full marathons, and recently completed a half Ironman as well. These are a testament to physical demands, of course, but more so the ability to show up for yourself and do something to prove that YOU matter, and YOU deserve to be healthy and push your own mental and physical barriers. Allow those that love you to cheer you on and support you the same way you do for them.
In my professional career as a trainer and coach, I’ve always been a quiet leader. In my 10+ years at Big Sky, you’ll rarely hear me yelling from the floor. We’ve all known and had coaches that motivate that way, but I’m your hype girl that will inspire you in a more subtle way. Loud when I need to be – and compassionate, understanding, and approachable in my coaching demeanor.
Like any journey in life, this is a commitment, and my testament to you is supporting you in every struggle (and yes, there could be many) that we meet. I am your cheerleader, your mentor, your teacher and your support system along the way.

Now, let’s get going!
