It’s almost time for the “Big Game”! What’s that you say? You don’t want to over-indulge at a Super Bowl party this weekend and feel like you’ve ruined everything you’ve been working toward? We hear you! What you need to do is plan some healthy options that won’t take you completely off track!
To make that easier, here’s one of our absolute favorite recipes to serve at a get together or take to a party!
2 10-oz containers of hummus
diced and seeded tomato or quartered grape tomatoes
8 oz crumbled feta cheese
Sliced black olives or chopped kalamata olives
Chopped green onions
Food should taste good tortilla chips or whole grain pita bread
Spread hummus into the bottom of a 9×13 dish, scatter half of the feta cheese on top.
Layer on the diced cucumber and tomato, sliced black olives and diced green onion.
Sprinkle remaining feta cheese on top and refrigerate. Serve with tortilla chips or pita bread. Enjoy !
