Coming Back from a Knee Injury

Elissa Conroy of Manchester used to drive past Big Sky Vernon all the time.  After working with an orthopedist and a physical therapist following a knee injury, she learned that her injury was something she would just have to live with for the rest of her life.  Gaining strength became her primary goal, along with toning up and feeling better, so she decided to stop driving by and give Big Sky a try.

Elissa met her trainer Deyquan Little and began training with him twice a week.   She added weekly cardio and the occasional spin class.

So far Elissa’s lost 2 pants sizes and 3% bodyfat… and people tell her that her arms look GREAT !  — We agree !

When we spoke with Elissa, she told us that her favorite things about Big Sky are her “friendly and knowledgeable trainer, the Big Sky Blendz shake bar, and the Kids’ Club.”  We asked if she would share her best advice for someone just starting out.  Her answer was “Stick with it and set small, attainable goals.  You WILL see results.”
