When Andrea Eastman of Tolland first joined Big Sky Vernon, she thought she wasn’t strong enough to work with a Trainer, and she wasn’t overly fond of weight lifting. “As an aging female with a family history of osteoporosis, I knew it was important to add strength training to my routine on a regular basis. I had always exercised regularly, but I was a cardio-addict. Rarely did I incorporate strength training into my schedule.”
After training with Big Sky Trainer Deyquan Little, Andrea is down 11.5 pounds and 5% body fat! “My Trainer’s constant availability and encouragement went a long, long, way toward helping me reach my goals. I’m very dedicated to my routine and try not to veer off track. When I commit, I do so at 100%! Adding the nutritional component to my Personal Training has been extremely informative and transforming. I have more confidence in myself now, and I feel so much more fit. I feel better now at age 48 than I did at 28 !”
Andrea is now taking advantage of all the different things Big Sky has to offer. She’s running, Spinning, taking step classes and biking outdoors. She’s also pursuing her Spinning Instructor Training. “I love the variety of group fitness classes and the people I’ve met at Big Sky. Most of all, my Trainer has been a huge part of my success. Deyquan is fantastic! Not only is he knowledgeable, but he’s also genuine and caring.”
