Melissa Mondesir has been a member of Big Sky since 2012. She’s been taking Group Fitness Classes at the Newington location and has lost more than 85 POUNDS ! She was kind enough to share some of her journey with us:

Q: Melissa, you look fantastic! Tell us what classes you’ve been taking to get these amazing results!

A: I take Zumba, BodyPump, BodyCombat, and Spinning. I also run, and I’m training for a half marathon!

 

 

 

 

Q: What do people say when they see you now? melissa 2

A: People always say “You look great!”, but the very BEST compliment I’ve received has to be “You’re my inspiration and give me the motivation to keep going”

 

Q: Losing weight isn’t always easy. Do you have any advice for other people who might be just starting out?

 

 

A: I would tell them “When it gets tough, don’t give up! Remember why you started your weight loss journey and use that to keep you going. Continue to challenge and push yourself every day. Remember that change doesn’t happen overnight.”
